What a great series; I am going to combo my review for the first three books. First, let me say I discovered this author by reading what another fan said about her work on another author's Facebook page. I'm a big fan of MC romance so I was surprised I had not heard of the author's work but so glad I started reading this series - I LOVE IT! I LOVE Rock and Hope. I think I love Rock bc he's mature, funny and is all the way in with Team Hope. This man really loves this woman! I liked Hope a lot too because she is strong but vulnerable. The book has a very realistic depiction of what it would be like if two people from really different worlds fall in love: an MC president and a lawyer. Rock and Hope initially meet under professional circumstances while Hope is still married, but when her husband unexpectedly dies. Rock does his best to be there for Hope, including giving her the space she needs to grieve.

I loved watching Hope try to adjust to MC life - again, she had a lot of bumps along the way, which was very realistic. I also loved how the guys in the MC eventually warmed up to her; it took a while, but eventually they all fell in love with her and took her in as one of their own. The sex scenes are steamy but what I love about the series are the little things that occur that make it romantic. I love the way Rock cups her face in his hands; I love how he is really attentive to her moods and wants and desires. Yes, he messes up but he tries to fix it (usually). He's also really a nice person, in his gruff, rough around the edges way.

Great secondary characters as well; I cannot WAIT to read Wrath and Trinity's story - they are going to have an epic tale, I know.
The only grievance I had with the series and I got over it was that it took three books to tell their story. Initially, I was ticked off, hate when authors do that but I begrudgingly admit now that their story couldn't have been told in one book. The good news about being late to catch the Autumn Jones Lake train is that most of the books in the series are out so I don't have to wait between books. I am going on to Book #4 and am excited to complete the entire series.

Don't you just love it when you discover a new author or series that you just cannot get enough of? That's how I feel about Autumn Jones Lake and the Lost Kings MC! Strength from Loyalty is the third book in the series, and I truly cannot get enough. This series is a unique MC ROMANCE with its complex characters and true romance. Although there is a plethora of hot biker dudes and action to keep you entertained, it is the love between Rock and Hope that keeps me coming back for more! Book 1-3 must be read in chronological order.

At the conclusion of Corrupting Cinderella, it seemed as though Hope and Rock would finally be able to make things work. They have been through plenty of drama, angst, and pain, and now Rock is ready for Hope to take her place as his "old lady". Hope has finally arrived emotionally and is ready for the task. With the support of the LOKI family, Rock is ready to expose Hope to the MC life. Their relationship continues to strengthen both physically and emotionally.

As with most relationships, the road is not easy. Hope still harbors guilt from the demons of her past. Rock is still trying to protect Hope from the not so legal "club business". This lethal combination forms a serious rift between the two. They must learn to overcome their fears and past mistakes to find peace in their present and hope for their future.

Told in dual POV, Strength from Loyalty is my favorite in the series thus far. (Don't worry, I have the fourth book on my ready to go.) Although the action is a bit on the lighter side (compared to most MC Romance books in the genre), I find that I have enjoyed the intensity and focus placed on the journey between two very unlikely people coming together. I adore both Rock and Hope as I find them both to be complex, witty, kind, and fiercely protective of one another. Additionally, the MC family provide plenty of entertainment along the way. Hope's friends (with their sex and the city vibe) give the read a complete package of characters to explore! I was truly touched and heart broken at times throughout the read. I found the choices both Rock and Hope made to be sincere and each moment was both beautiful and broken (just like life!). The writing style of Ms. Lake is well constructed with a natural flow and humorous dialogue. I am certainly hooked to these characters and I cannot wait for more!

Overall, Strength from Loyalty was a beautiful read full of steam, romance, and hot bikers. Do I really need to say anymore? I look forward to Tattered on My Sleeve because Wrath and Trinity deserve their own HEA!!!!! I cannot say enough about this series! I love it!

It takes a good author to keep you hooked in the stories. Autumn (and this series) does a great job of that.
Rock and Hope. This is one hot couple. This third book takes us through all of the things that a couple who come from different worlds have to explore in order to keep the love real and to keep the love strong. Rock loves hope madly, and he sees things like a tough biker Prez should - she's his and he can take care of her every want. Hope loves Rock passionately, but she's still adjusting to his world while dealing with the fact that her love for him is hotter, deeper and stronger than she ever loved her late husband. In addition to this she has a secret that torments her and frustrates Rock because she can't seem to confide in him. Is their love strong enough to withstand their differences and misunderstandings? Well, I stayed up all night reading this because I had to find out! I'm totally invested in this series and I could read about these two forever. Love and need are explored so well in this story as Rock discovers that love is a lot more complicated than running a MC while Hope discovers that everything she needs to be happy, she has already found in Rock. The white noise of the culture of the MC, her acceptance by the other members of the club, the dynamics of family and friends fade to black for Hope when she realizes nothing else matters but Rock. She needs him and he needs her (sigh). What a love story! I hope that Ms. Lake will write more about these two. Well, next up is Wrath and Trinity - can't wait!
